Meet the Instructor

Ralph E. Bolda With 40 years of experience as a taxidermist, Mr. Bolda is currently co-owner of Limited Edition Taxidermy & Fur Dressing in Alpena, Michigan and has been an instructor in the taxidermy field for 14 years..

Ralph has worked in all phases of taxidermy and mounted various specimens from all over North America, Africa, and South America. He has put together a Bald Eagle exhibit for Seney National Wildlife refuge, and has done work for various institutions and universities around the state.

Ralph has also won many many awards for his mounts in taxidermy competitions around the world, state, national, and also at the international shows. He is a member of the National Taxidermist Association, the International Guild of Taxidermists, and was one of the charter members of the Michigan Taxidermist Association when it was formed in 1982.

Ralph has also written articles for several taxidermy publications, has done seminars at several taxidermy conventions and has been a judge on the State Level.
